Hi Chris,

Having just spent a lovely hour in the garden with all 3 of our cockers, thought it was a good time to post something as a proud owner of 2 Powerscourter's. Our boys are just so wonderful. They have a great sense of fun, have wonderful personalities are soooo good natured. They love socialising and are a joy to own. It's all thanks to the hard work and dedication of their Mother Chris and and her family. Thank you Chris.

Hi Chris,

Just to keep you informed that Powerscourt Likea Whisper (Daisy Duke) is doing very well, she will be two years old tomorrow.

She is an absolute darling bitch to own. She has replaced the 12 year old King Charles Cavalier Giggsy we sadly lost.

Hope you are well, regards Angela.

Hi Chris,

It is now a week since we brought home our second Powerscourt puppy - 'Little Ted' we can honestly say he is a superb puppy, very well balanced in every respect. It was great to be able to get to know not only his parents but also grandparents, all wonderful, gentle, merry cockers.

Our thanks go to Chris for all her hard work and dedication in the care and love she gives to each and everyone of her pups. Our little man has certainly been welcomed into 'the fold'. Thanks Chris for entrusting him to us, we will cherish him just as we do our girl 'Lottie'.

Hi Chris,

While out walking Dudley yesterday, a lady in a wheelchair was fussing Dudley to which he responding very gently and the lady asked if Dudley could sit on her lap which he did. She gave him so much praise and fuss and said what a loving and gentle dog we have which made us very proud. I must say he really did keep up the Powerscourt name. Well done Duds!

Love Jane and Dudley xx

Hi Chris,

It is now nearly a year since we took Morgan home with us. At the time we were a little worried, that, with being an older puppy, he wouldn't settle with us. However these worries proved to be completely unfounded. To say that he is wonderful is an understatement, he has enriched our lives more than we could ever say.

He is still the nosiest dog that I have ever met as well and if there is only one muddy puddle Morgan can find it.

People comment how beautiful he is and yesterday some-one stopped their car to comment. All this is thanks to you for both your breeding skills and the excellent start in life that you give your dogs.

Thank you again, Best wishes, Carol and John

Hi Chris,

Just where does the time go? So very, very sad to learn of Amy's passing. It brought a tear to my eye. With Murphy her son on my lap we looked through her pictures whilst Murph licked the tears from my face and we realised what a wonderful and long life she had. Dave and I are so lucky to have a part of Amy with us.

Very shocked to hear of Felix too. Sam,  Felix's brother is doing very well and is a constant source of support - and amusement - to both Dave's parents. Murphy and Harry can't wait until each Sunday when they all get together and 'scrap' over who can reach the furthest into the dishwasher to lick the dishes after Sunday dinner!

Take good care and kisses to all, Katherine

Thank you SO much for all your support recently after we lost our beloved Stan. I have spent a lot of time looking at your website over the past few days. It's an amazing source of info and all your dogs are beautiful. You do an incredible job, Chris, and each and every one of your dog babies are a real credit to you.

The boys and I went to the Building Society today. Unusually, we had a long wait (10 minutes), but they were very well-behaved. One of the customers was very taken with them, and I told her that they had a wonderful nature. I’ve recommended you to her since she lost her dog (cocker spaniel) two years ago and, I think, may be looking for a puppy.

I never cease to be amazed at how easy-going (although quite spirited) Leo and Josh are. They are a credit to your breeding and to the love which you gave them as pups.

It is 12months today that I drove through Shropshire to Leominster to collect P. Precious Simba aka Megan. It has been 12 months of fun, Meggie has such a lovely nature she is a joy to be with, she likes to think she is the top dog, which KT is happy to go along with whilst it suits her, Alfie has no choice, as far as he is concerned Meggie rules OK! She is a PAT dog, as are a number of Chris's babies, a real testament to their superb breeding and gentle upbringing.

Meggie was 18 months old when she came to me straight from Maternity leave, and to anyone thinking of taking on an older Powerscourt, she has never put a foot wrong from the moment she joined the family, she is perfect with small grandchildren, and always ready for a walk with the other 2 dogs - her litter sister P. Celtic Rose aka KT and Alfie who is a nephew thanks to his dad P. Perfect Magic (Dudley). Thanks Chris, for being such a loving breeder and super person. Love Di and the gang.

Leo has grown up into a lovely dog who loves people and always makes a fuss when we meet people on our walks.

We’ve had 3 spaniels before but, I have to say, he is the easiest-going and most affectionate of them all. He is a handsome dog, both in looks and personality, and we’re so pleased that we bought him from you.

He’s much admired in the neighbourhood and one lady, who has 2 spaniels of her own, has commented that she has never seen a finer rear end on a dog!

Love and licks, Leo and Michael

We rehomed Jasper. He came from a wonderful home but sadly the previous owners other dog took a dislike to Jasper. He is a year old and for anyone out there considering taking on an older Powerscourt dog I can't recommend them highly enough. Hi Chris, Long time no write, thought it was time to update you about Bertie Powerscourt Peter Pied. 6 1/2 years old but no slower than the day we took him home!

He's loving, loyal and would eat all day long if given the chance I think he's a bit of mummy's boy for that. He's fantastic with the children, plays roughy toughy with Henry 5 and lets Georgia 18 mths hug him to pieces.

He loves his walks, can't get enough of his ball and would swim in his water bowl if he thought he could get in it. The children's bath time is always amusing as Bertie tries to join in. Thank you so much for letting us have him, we couldn't imagine life without him. We really loved looking at all your photos tonight, hope all is well. Take Care.

Hi Chris

Just a quick update! Cassey went to the Vets yesterday and was a little star she sat on the table as good as gold and did everything she was asked to do and didn't even flinch when the needle went in bless her.

He asked if she was from same breeder as Kia. The Vet was very impressed and said to tell you she was gorgeous and wished all breeders did what you do. Yes another star in the making.

Moira

What an absolute star!

He was put in his crate at 10:45 and made no fuss as we switched off the lights and retired to bed ourselves. We didn't hear a peep out of him all night! We both woke around 05:00 and went to check on him, only to find him sat quite contently in his crate. Jim duly took him outside where he quickly spent a penny before being brought back in and put back in his crate - again no fuss, so off we went to bed again. It was 07:30 when we heard him crying to be let out. Happily played in the kitchen until his breakfast time at 08:00 which was 90% eaten, more play. He's had another nap and just woken up. He's taken a particular liking to a stuffed otter that he keeps "subduing". He also seems to enjoy classical music. Oh nearly forgot - fell asleep in the kitchen with the washing machine on - so not phased at all!

Chris, thank you so much for allowing us our Ollie - he's great.

Do you know, this little dog of mine never ceases to amaze me.
Today we were PAT-ing at Frenchay.

One of brothers of one of the mothers is off to Iraq next week with the RAF so as a good bye he "pinched" a helicopter from work and brought it to Frenchay for the children.

I thought we'd go and investigate....there were the children, the play specialists a couple of Mums and Muppet and I waiting on the helipad for it to arrive.

Off course the kids loved it but....so did Muppet!

I have no idea what sort of chopper it was but it was huge, one of the big ones for deploying the troops. it circled over us once and came into land. I picked Muppet up for a better view and she was nothing other than her usual Like a Star @ heaven self. She was like, mum what is this big noisy bird, what is it, can I get in it, this is fun isn't it?

I think the pilot was a little amused, we were so close we could see the colour of his socks! He was a little baffled at a dog so close to his helicopter. I know they use spaniels in Iraq for explosive work but a cute furry one at Frenchay is not something he was expecting.

So Muppet is bomb proof, no wriggling, no whining no nothing just pure excitement as her ears were blown back against the side of her head. She is the best.

Chris, I think on that puppy buyers sheet that they can tick off when the dog has seen a horse, a man in a hat, a bicycle, I think you need to add large monstrous helicopter!

As you know I am desperate for another small person and waiting patiently in the wings and although Powerscourters are the best of the best I know in my heart of hearts I will NEVER get another as perfect as my Mupps. Love you Beany.

Hi Chris

I was a bit apprehensive about taking on an older pup - but it has been the best decision ever and I'm happy to let everyone know this!

What can I say? Our beautiful little Daisy has become part of the family. She is adorable and we all love her little ways..... We get compliments on her good looks and lovely temperament where ever we go. She is in every way an exceptional little girl.

She is well behaved and easy to adapt to new things and routines. We have already been for a weekend away to Anglesey with her (our parents still live there). She travels well and is friendly (if initially cautious) with new people. But in no way timid.

She is good off the lead and comes back when called. We tend to exercise on common ground just round the corner from our house. She has play mates galore here..... and she holds her own with the boisterous young ones. All my dog walking friends admire her gentle and well behaved ways.

She would prefer to be with me ALL the time but we have stuck to our bed time routine and there is no fuss (by either of us now!) In her crate she goes and not a sound till morning.

I am thinking of taking us both to puppy classes in the New Year (more for me than her) as she picks everything up so quickly it will be fun to meet more dogs and learn new tricks. She has cottoned on to the "wet dog" routine, after her walk. Sitting on her towel and being dried off before we leave the hall. Lifting every paw in turn and then rolling over so I can do her tummy ! ;o)

Before I had Daisy and looking on your web site every new owner seemed to be saying the same thing. How remarkable and wonderful your dogs and puppies are. I more than agree and think we are very lucky to have found you and Daisy.

Have a great Christmas Chris and all at Powerscourt and thank you for letting us have Daisy.

Lots of Love

Julie and Daisy xxx

I am sorry I have not been in touch for a while. Sulu is now coming up to his first birthday and I wanted to tell you what a joy he has brought to our lives. I will send you a photo soon so you can see how he is getting on. Many thanks for our boy. Luv Conny

Hi Chris,

Can't say thank you enough for having Henry back while we are on holiday. His routine is exactly the same that you kept him to.

As for how he is - what can I say its fun and laughter with him every moment he is awake. He has settled in so well and we have had no problems with him at all, he goes for a walk with Graham in the morning down the lane behind our house we have also taken him around Church Stretton town for a walk as well, and he has now found his feet and chases the pheasants so that gives him more exercise.

Our son and daughter in law met him on Sunday and can't get over how he looks like our last cocker spaniel Buster. Our daughter is coming over on Friday as she is desperate to see him. He comes everywhere with us in the car and he travels so well - just lies down and goes to sleep. We can't thank you enough for letting us bring Henry home. We hadn't realised how empty the house was without a dog but now we have so much fun with him and his little ways which makes us smile. He is a real character and that is down to you and his upbringing.

If you would like to visit just phone and let us know it would be nice to see you again. We will keep in touch with you and let you know how he is going on. We are very blessed to have him in our lives so again thank you very much for letting us bring him home.

Hope to see you soon.

Hello Chris,

Just to keep you up to date, Henry has settled in so well, sleeps all night in fact we have to wake him up to go out when we get up. He has such a sense of humour and he such a happy and contented dog.

Took him out yesterday for the day absolutely wonderful in the car and walked so well. We can never thank you enough for letting us carry on your good work and I am sure he will always be a credit to you.

Everywhere we went yesterday people asked could they say hello to him and asked where he came from. He enjoyed his walk around Pets at Home store in Shrewsbury. We will carry on the good work you have started, and keep in touch with you. We are so glad we found your site and even more that we found Henry.

Best wishes, Graham and Marilyn

Hi Chris,

Just thought I'd give you with a bit of an update on Fudge, after our first week.

Well, what can I say .................he's absolutely wonderful, more than we could have hoped for and a credit to you and your family.

We are so very, very happy with him and love him to bits. We have permanent smiles on our faces!

As you know, our only concerns were that he would be happy leaving his pack and the comfort of you and your home.

I can honestly say that we haven't seen a glimmer of stress or upset at any point during the week for any reason and I hope that is a comfort to you. It’s such a relief to us. He really does seem unfazed.

His favourite things are cuddles (of which he has an endless supply), hurtling up and down the garden at 100 miles an hour, and teenagers who equal more teenagers and more fuss!

He's been an absolute star at bed time. He sleeps in the hall/kitchen and doesn't mind not coming up stairs with us. Obviously the first night was strange for him but he didn’t bark or cry, just banged and scratched at the kitchen door, but from the second night on I can honestly say we haven’t heard a murmur from him and he's always clean to get up to in the morning.

I'll keep you posted, but please be assured he really couldn't be more loved and cared for.

Kindest regards and many thanks,

Sarah

Hi Chris

After returning from Cumbria today we went to collect Toby from Eileen the lady who looks after him when we go away. Eileen’s from Ireland and I mentioned Toby’s kennel name of Powerscourt. She was really interested in this as she runs a falconry centre at Powerscourt estate in Co. Wicklow. At the time I didn’t know the reason for your kennel prefix but have since found out from your web site about your time in Ireland. It’s a small world.

Eileen and her partner are really besotted with Toby, they say their dogs are “secondary modern” whilst Toby is an “Eton boy”. Not certain where he got the Eton manners from though – can’t be from us?!

Toby really has a wonderful character and everyone he meets adores him. He lights up our life.

Thank you again for letting us have such a little star.

Take care

Hi Chris, just a very late and belated Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you and yours! So sorry I haven't been in touch - Winter is always the most time consuming time of year for me with the horses and with Christmas as well (plus husband with flu) my feet don't seem to have touched the ground!

Well what can I say about Lulu!! She is an absolute dream and we are both so fortunate in having such an absolutely adorable little girl! I say "little" but in actual fact she is growing into quite a large cocker - I certainly have to keep an eye on her waistline - she could get fat on fresh air! She is the most wonderful dog - she has a temperament to die for - always merry and always so pleased with life! You could not get a better tempered dog. She has struck up a wonderful relationship with our little ginger cat and they are never happier than when they are on the settee with each other with Lulu chewing the cat's ears! Having said that she is no "pushover"!! She goes to dog training classes and although she knows what she should do if she feels she would rather play then you have the devil's own job with her! Not in a nasty way or a naughty way - she just thinks life if for playing!! Its a good job we are not keen gardeners as she is also very good at digging holes! She will come into her element in the Summer as we are planning an extension to the house - I am sure she will supervise the builders!

Anyway I just thought I would keep you posted and thank you once again for letting us have such a wonderful little dog!

Best Wishes to you all - Alison, Greville and Lulu

A big thank you for looking after our Kia, she has had a good sniff around and settled back into home. She slept most of the way home.

Thank Len for us too for walking her and getting her to walk as she should. I know we spoil her a bit (well more than a bit) we would be lost without her.

I know we have said it before we are so glad it was a Powerscourt Cocker we have they are the best.

The other reason for this message is that we appear to have bought back the treats and toy. Would it be okay for us to pop over before Christmas with them and hopefully we will have the picture of Kia too.

Will give you a call when we have the photo and arrange a day.
Take care will speak soon

Dear Aunty Chris,

I have taught them around 26 words or commands which they seem to recognise but don't always perform to command-

Sit
Stand
Lie Down
Roll Over
Shake hands
Left hand
Right Hand
Stay
Wait
Leave it
Drop it
Give
Kisses
No
This way
Come
Fetch
Yum yum
Seek
Wotsthis
Away
Off
Ahem
Hurry up
Heel
Steady
Treat

plus my name of course, as well as some pet names

I do think they are above average intelligence but I haven't managed to teach them how to spell them all yet and at times they seem to think that a treat is the only way to get a result! I couldn't possibly comment! It's early days yet but they seem willing to please.

Lots of love

Hi Chris

Thought I would drop you a few lines to let you know how much we are enjoying Murphy! I have been meaning to drop you a line every time I look at the website but never get around to it, but I saw Len this morning and he said I should get in touch.

Murphy is a complete star, he immediately settled into our family life and just feels like he has always been with us. He is lively, cheeky, loving and mischievous little chap but gentle with it. He loves nothing more than a run around the fields (sheep permitting) then to come back fill his belly and have a doze. He has taken a particular liking for the open fire when lit, I think he just likes comfortable surroundings. He equally enjoyed sunning himself on the lawn during the summer months, so I think he is a dog who likes the good life.

He has brought a lot of laughter into our household, especially as his 'comfort' is a towel! He had this to clean his feet originally but now proceeds to carry it around with him. Its his comfort, friend and toy (we have provided proper toys but this has won hands down). His favourite trick is to empty all his belongings (usually found in and around his basket) and drag it all into the lounge so he has got a choice of playthings.

We get a lot of lovely people stopping and telling us what I handsome dog he is, but then of course we knew that anyway. The other village children have got a soft spot for him and he was quite a celebrity during the summer holidays, we were a very popular family, though I did have to restrict this as I think he would have got fed up with all the attention. He does like coming to the bus stop in the morning so that he gets plenty of attention.

Murphy is currently in the process of losing his teeth so he has taken a liking to devouring my wallpaper in the kitchen, but this is a small price to pay for the great joy Murphy has brought us. On the plus side it means I will get it re-decorated when he has grown out of the puppy stage so that's a bonus. Overall he has been really well behaved and he was completely clean in the house within a couple of weeks, thanks to your early start on the training.

Well I hope that gives you an insight into our life with Murphy, unfortunately I haven't got my recent photos sorted, but I will forward one to you very soon.

I hope you and your family are all well.

Thank you again for letting us bring Murphy home, we all love him to bits.

Take care

Love Julie, Tim and Sam Wright

Hi Chris

Hope you and your family are well. I was just conscious of fact that I haven’t been in contact for quite a while about Roxie’s progress.

Roxie is a real character. She doesn’t bark she squeaks – so we’ve nicknamed her guinea pig. She’s been going out for walks for quite a while now and loves them and is very good on the lead.

She loves chasing her tail and biting at it. She’s full of life and mischief and our neighbour always mentions how good and quiet she is when we’re not at home. She is very calm and loving and never appears to get stressed by anything – she just takes everything in her stride. She is also quite intelligent. She’s been fully house-trained for a while now and loves her dog flap which allows her to get out and about in the garden whenever she wants to.

We all love her and laugh at her antics continuously and would like to thank you again for letting us have Roxie.

Will update you again soon and hopefully next time send you some pics.

Kind regards.
Alex

Dear Chris,

I thought I would bring you up to date with little 'Lottie's' progress and development.

Lottie is really coming on, she is so bright, I swear she has been on this earth before, knows every trick in the book! Our days are filled with laughter, joy, mischief and crime! We can take her anywhere and she just settles, friends, cafes, pubs, she just lies down under the table and watches the world go by. I have to say though our walks in the forest are an absolute pleasure, Lottie is off the lead and responds to our commands immediately, with the exception of greeting people, she is still inclined to want to jump up, especially if she is met with an enthusiastic welcome. We usually put her on the lead and keep her calm, difficult sometimes if peoples responses are inclined to be jumpy! If we meet up with horses, cyclists, joggers etc., she waits to one side and sits down, for 5 months old we are really impressed with her willingness to learn and trainability. She loves to meet up with other dogs and enjoys a good old romp.

I think you would not be able to resist her charm and character if you were to meet up with her again, I just know you would love her to bits. I have never had a dog like her, she is such great company, knows everything we say, even before we have said it! The other day I had finished eating my breakfast, no sooner had my spoon gone down than Lottie dived up ran to the bathroom looking up at the basin and waited for me to get my toothbrush out! Lottie loves her teeth being brushed so after I have done mine she gets hers done (with her own brush I might add, I encourage sharing but do draw the line with my toothbrush! Although she is using my old electric one and sits there whilst it whizzes round her chops!)

Hi Chris

Just a quick update!

It's been a week since we collected Fern, time travels fast. Fern has settled in really well and training has started in earnest. Toileting has been cracked, she knows the garden is the designated area and waits to go out through the conservatory doors. Sleeping arrangements are also sorted ( you know she sleeps with us, although it's not ideal it works well despite the constant fidgeting ).

We can't thank you enough for the chance to have her in our family; apart for being absolutely gorgeous she has a lot of fun and is funny to boot. Our black cat Storm has taken to her, they touch noses regularly and engage in play boxing (no claws, just patting)

TOBY - Powerscourt Higher Echelon

It was obvious from day one just how well you have trained him, he just walked straight into Kylie and Martins home and settled right in. The children, Leah and Toby love him to bits, and typically cocker he reciprocates. Toby goes for a walk in the local park with Kylie and Leah on a daily basis and Leah loves to lead him knowing he will behave like a gentleman.

The nesting habit has started but it seems he wasn't guilty of hiding their back door keys a few days ago, that was down to Kylie forgetting where she put them.

I can however pass on Kylie and Martins thanks for letting them look after him, they can't believe how lucky they are to have him in their family.

All our love, Mike and co.

Hi Chris

I have just been reading the comments from other owners. I agree with them all.

We have had Kia now for almost 4 months and she does something new every day. We love her to bits as she does us. She has discovered the birds in the garden and love to chase them but runs when they look like they are going to chase her. It is raining at he moment and she still wants to go out. She brought me my slipper today but only one, must get her to bring the other!

Anyway just wanted to let you know we are so glad that we found you and that you let us have Kia. She is adorable and everyone that meets her wants to take her home.

We were in the vets getting her some food they were very impressed with the way she tells us she needs to go to the toilet, we think if she could she would talk to us.

Bye for now and a very big thank you Lesley and Kia xx

Hi Chris!

Just to let you know that Dottie is absolutely WONDERFUL, she is completely mad as a cocker should be and makes me laugh all the time.

We are off this evening to enrol in the KC Good Citizen Awards and if we do well we are going for agility classes!

Yesterday Dottie decided she was no longer a dog but a fish and left us on the riverbank whilst she went off with the ducks!! When she decided to rejoin our family (the ducks didn't want to play!) the rain started and we were all very wet, which Dottie thought was marvellous and proceeded to show her approval by licking us like mad.

We'll check in again soon, love from Lianne and Dottie (or monkey as she's nicknamed!)

Dear Chris

Just thought I would give you an update on our baby. We have had her now for a week and I have lost count of how many smiles she has brought to our faces and laughter. Lottie is an absolute star, she is so good at night, sleeps through, no puddles or poos, sits on command, comes on command, and stays on command! Hasn't quite grasped 'leave' or 'give' yet, but we are working on it. Lottie sits before I place her food down, so well mannered. She loves being put 'through her paces' and knows she is clever when working. Each day her confidence grows, this is particularly evident in the garden, she has broadened her exploration boundary and the delight in her eyes when she 'found' a plastic flower pot and brought it back to me. Sometimes she can be a little exuberant in play and crosses the boundary, i.e. hanging off the leg of my jeans, or 'mouthing' so she has to accept a bit of 'time out' it is usually when she is becoming tired, our kids were the same, but we called it the death rattle, they used to have a mad half hour before sleep took over! I am sure it won't be long before she gets the message, she is so eager to please. I have to compliment you Chris, without your input and initial grounding I am sure my job would have been a whole lot harder, I really thank you for this.

We took Lottie to visit our vet and register her, he thought she was a brilliant puppy and in great condition, he was very impressed with your standards too. She is able to attend her first puppy class on Wednesday, only mixing with the other puppies from our practice that have had their first vaccinations. I am sure she will take it all in her stride. We really do love her Chris.

John took delivery of his new car, so Lottie has had a few runs to the shops and back, it is a slightly different motion to it, being high off the ground, mine's the opposite, a small open top sports car! Don't know what she will make of it. Chloe used to sit there with her harness on and enjoy the air, Lottie will have to wear a biggles hat to keep her ears flat! Only joking, safety is paramount don't worry I will be responsible.

Lots of love x

Hello Chris

Well our bundle of joy is settling in well and is doing great! He’s had his first bath and hair dry and coped very well with both.

He has found his first new “friend” or should I say first whole-meal … the guinea pig, however marmsie the cat is keeping a wide berth!

His toilet routine is absolutely brilliant! .. all thanks to you .. and he sleeps through the night.

Many Thanks once again

Muppet is nearly 3 and just gets better and better.

She came to live with me in a pet home but there appears to be no end to her talents.

Last year she qualified as a PAT dog and has been giving joy to all she meets. More recently in the local paediatric ward she is hugged and kissed and fed far too many sausages.

Today we entered our 3rd show and came 3rd. I never had any intention to put her in the showring but occasionally in a moment of madness I enter her in these things. Neither one of us has the first clue what we are doing but it is generally a good day out and today she beat 2 other dogs. As far as I am concerned she has just won the Crufts Trophy. To top it all we have managed not to bring the Powerscourt name and all of Chris's hard work into disrepute (a huge sigh is heard in Leominster)!

I can do ANYTHING with this dog and she takes it all in her stride. Nothing phases her (accept the Hoover and I am sure that is just a cunning plan so she can get out of it).

Testament to Chris with all the effort and hard work she has put in. Thank you.

Nearly 3 months ago Toby came to live with us. He's such a star and his fun, friendly, confident, willing and loving nature endears him to everyone he meets. He is such a laid back character who takes everything in his stride and isn't afraid of new experiences.

The puppy information pack and on going advice given by Chris has been first class and made the "settling in" phase so much easier. Toby's a credit to Chris and the early socialisation he had at Powerscourt has been invaluable.

We look forward to many happy years together.

We have been the proud owners of Mazie - Powerscourt Vanilla Rose for 7 months now. After much persuasion by our 2 boys, we gave in and started our search for the 5th member of the household. After many weeks of looking, we found Chris and Powerscourt Cockers. We knew instantly that she was "The one"

As soon as we met Chris and her extended family, we knew that it was meant to be - Mazie came into our lives. She is beautiful, adorable and so gentle with my 2 rough boys. Thank you Chris for trusting us with one of your precious babies. She is a credit to you. x x x x

A belated happy new year Chris and to your family! Lucy (daughter of Phoebe and Toby) is now just over 6 months and she is such a wonderful bundle of fun we all love her to bits. She's got a gorgeous personality - plays so well with us and on her own, is so friendly to all she meets. She is an absolute joy, we feel so lucky to have found you (and her). She is still going to training classes with me every week and we both enjoy it a lot - she is doing Mum and Dad proud! I've been trimming her a little but she's going for a bit more of a trim in a couple of weeks to tidy herself up a bit - she's a little bit of a fluff ball at the moment! Well must go just wanted to say THANK YOU for Lucy!

Harvey came to live with us on September 3rd this year, and he has settled in with the family very well. His mum is Tiggy, and his littermates are Cooper, Sweep and Maisie. Our children, Lauren and Ryan, absolutely love him to bits. Although, initially shy, Harvey has now come out of his shell and is so full of affection, fun and, yes, mischief! Any visitors are assured of a warm welcome.

Now we are all on the forum people on the outside don't get hear how wonderful our Powerscourt dogs are so I thought I'd give an update.

Muppet has just received her boosters one year on. The vet is very pleased with her and tells me she is a lovely example of a cocker (the show ring may disagree but I tend to favour his professional opinion!) ;o)

So this small orange cute orange lump came into my life last June and I wouldn't be without her. She is a little minx and likes to push her luck and then does the "But I am soo cute, you can't possibly tell me off" routine and so life goes on. It appears that a year after being entrusted with a Powerscourt pup that I have not done too much damage and undone any of Chris's hard / good work.

It is so nice to hear on the forum about other owners, exploits, about litter mates, brothers, sisters, mums, dads and cousins. I feel like I own a whole bunch of cockers and not just one. I believe that this is a really important aspect of owning a Powerscourt pup, the fact you have support (and a giggle) with Chris and the other owners what ever the time of day or night. You don't just get a puppy, you end up with a really good group of friends.

As I say time and time again, thank you so much for Muppet, she is a joy to own (did I really say that)! :o) Thank you Chris.

Love Leisl and Muppet

Thanks to Chris, Zak has had a wonderful start to life, and like all Powerscourt pups he is a happy and well-adjusted little chap who enjoys life to the full. Everyone loves him and he gets admired wherever he goes. We are looking forward to introducing him to our favourite walks very soon. He loves exploring and he loves his cuddles. Thanks, Chris, no puppy could have had a better start in life. Love Chris, Gordon and Zak.

Everyone Millie meets falls instantly in love with her – she is just so cute and adorable and she loves her cuddles. We just love her soooo much.

Millie is our dream come true and I will be eternally grateful to Chris for Millie.

Love to Chris, Rosie and her litter mates – Millie couldn’t have had a better start in life!

We have settled into our new home very well and are enjoying the delights of having open fields on our doorstep, these include rolling in cowpats (if they are passed their eat by date!) the muddy stream is also not to be missed, but the best part of all are the Rabbits, there is something about that smell that really gets the tails wagging, much faster on their feet than us but we will keep on trying love to everyone xxxxxxxxxxx

Hello Chris !!

Penny is growing very well as you can see on the pictures. She is a devil with an angel face, she brings toys to Tiffi so that they can play, and when Tiffi does, Penny attacks her. But they play very good together, as do Penny with all the other dogs.

We must say that she is the easiest puppy we ever had, she is almost clean in doors (accidents can happen)! She sleeps the whole night through, and best off all, she is just so loving.

It is hard to believe that we have been so lucky. It is a real pleasure to see and feel, how a super breeder can influence a puppies behaviour. Thank you Chris for being such a SUPER BREEDER.

Thank you, and all the best from Solveig and Jørgen and Penny (DK)

You know how on Tuesday you said goodbye to me on Tuesday with two (well, one and a half) pristine, clean, pedigree dogs....? Well I have a small confession. We were going to enter the dog show at Berkeley Show today, all nicely groomed, clean teeth, pristine "white bits," but unfortunately we found the river before we found the show ring! What we didn't win in rosettes we won in adoring glances and strokes from everyone else, which much more fun and I guess all that matters. Till's is happy, sniffing, steeling socks (Muppy's taught her how) and hogging the sofa so I am assuming it means she's settled in. Muppet has some else to plot with!

Congratulations to you on your wins today with both Lottie and Archie. Speak soon.

Scoobie is growing up to be a beautiful boy, and he is very like his daddy Toby. he loves his "big sister" Powerscourt Partisan "Mollie". Scoobie is certainly a very clever and entertaining boy. Scoobie is already an excellent swimmer and he would swim right the way down the river Thames if he was allowed! He is a very happy, loving and playful little boy.

Toby is doing so well here with us. He is now (almost!) housetrained and is an extremely smart little fellow. He has become much more adventurous in our garden and has explored every nook and cranny. He loves to roam around in the early morning and late at night but rushes back indoors during the day after doing his business. It is just too hot for him here at that time of day. Once Autumn comes he should love the garden all the time. We had him in the pool with us a couple of times. We make sure we are right beside him while he swims around. He is already a much better swimmer than Mum! His doggy paddle is certainly better.

I did my first "dummy" retrieval in water today! Not bad for 15 weeks old. Crufts obedience here we come. It was of course by accident as it fell in the lake at home, I forgot to stop and followed it into the water. It came as a bit of a shock to both mum and me. I'm not sure why she made so much of a fuss, I was the one that got wet! Mum has learnt this great new training method; its called "CHEESE". It's not in any book but it works a treat. Tesco's extra mature works best!

Love to everyone @ the madhouse.

Holly has been our new friend for 4 weeks now. After spending such a long time with Chris (4 months) she really coped well with her new surroundings. She spent a few days in UK before we drove to Gibraltar. Holly seem to enjoy the long car ride and was very well behaved apart from one small accident in the hotel in Tours.

Holly has adapted to the heat in Gibraltar extremely well and has many new friends. Everyone who meets her says what a lovely dog she is and what a beautiful colour (Blue Roan, virtually all cockers in Gibraltar are solids). After spending all that time with Chris, it goes without saying that she is very well behaved with humans and other dogs. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about pigeons (we now know why she was call Powerscourt Ping Pong). We also know that sub-woofer cables taste nice!!!

Murphy and Harry are now the proud owners of a cycle trailer and enjoy a "ride" whenever they get the chance. Murphy is not so sure but Harry thinks it's great. We get many comments, firstly because there are not many trailers around and then people realize there are two dogs riding in tow. People usually squeal "look at those two dogs. Aren't they sweet!" Harry obviously enjoys the attention as he lays back to catch as many admiring views as possible, Murphy wants to stop so he can say hello to everyone!

Your website looks beautiful (as always) there are so many lovely dogs! Keep up the good work and we hope to see you soon.

Having now achieved the status of being owned by a Powerscourt puppy, I wanted to thank Chris for the sheer joy that is Dilly. Morning lie-ins are a thing of the past but worth foregoing for the pleasure of being greeted by this furry bundle of energy who has managed all night without me. The garden has had to have a re-think i.e. replace herbs with cobbles, move planters to other areas etc. and as for feet she obviously has the same trait as her brothers and sisters - no toes are safe around her. Dilly has adapted remarkably to her new home , which is a credit to Chris and family for the way the puppies are socialized and given the independent and confidant streak which helps them through the changes. Hope to keep in touch with Dilly's litter family through Chris's website, it will be interesting to know how they all develop.

Best wishes to all

Hi Chris

What a jam packed 1st week we have had. The hose pipe has been punctured, the watering can has been played with, the beanbag has changed ownership (that rule lasted 5 minutes), there's been a ride in a wheelbarrow and the garden has been systematically destroyed. We also had a bath - thank god I have a wet room! Muppet is having an identity crisis as she keeps getting "Dizzy get off my plants!" every waking minute of the day. You will also be delighted to know that she is continuing the Powerscourt genus with the sock fetish - what is it with your dogs and stinky socks? We love each other dearly - I show it by lots of hugs and treats and stroking, she shows it by chewing my toes. Thank you so much Chris for my lovely furry girl your effort and dedication is so evident, I hope we can continue the same high standard from where you left off. I am very privileged to have been allowed two Powerscourt dogs. See you soon.

To Mummy Chris,

Just a quick note to say Hi!! Both Harry and I had an excellent weekend. We went to Sheerwater with Mum and Dad and I went in the water - didn't like it last time, but since I went swimming in the sea in Cornwall I love it!! I got so excited I even rolled in the frog's spawn (I don't think mum and dad were too impressed!!). Harry saw what fun I was having and he joined me too. We both swam and got completely covered in mud. Great fun. We especially liked stinking the car out on the way home - mum and dad got a WHOLE carrier bag full of twigs off me and Harry. Hope Maddie is doing well, can't wait to be an uncle again. Harry says hi to Tilly. Got to go now, time for bed - ahhh...

She is eager to learn and lovely to have around, she is only a hazard when socks are in evidence - a major habit that seems to apply whether they are occupied by feet or not!

Dizzy Dog came to live with us in June 2002. As I have told Chris on numerous occasions she is absolutely perfect in every way. She has been a lively addition to the family is just a pleasure to be with. She just loves company be it human or canine. When out walking everyone and I mean everyone knows that we have a dog called Dizzy as she just wants to go off with anyone. Somewhere along the line she has developed a fetish for shredding socks, the stinkier the better. Any suggestions....?Unfortunately my partner and I split up recently and Dizz has remained with him. I am on the waiting list for another Powerscourt pup and if she is even half as good as Dizzy Dog I know that I'll be in for many years of fun and companionship.

Powerscourt Pierre - Louis

sam.hay@btopenworld.com

Louis joined our family a little over 3 weeks ago and we couldn't have wished for a more perfect addition. Louis is clearly a talented little chap, his impersonations of Irish dancers whilst he waits for his scrambled eggs in the morning is second to none. Louis has also shown an aptitude for gardening, my borders are now weed AND plant free! Thankfully he feels his work is complete and appears happy to carry Emillie's spade around the garden.

In the short time that Louis has been with us he has stolen the hearts of all he meets, his sweet nature has endeared him to both Courtney and Emillie, even his attempts at hiding their shoes (it saves them tidying them away). We are very lucky to have Louis, thank you Chris for this experience.

Elizabeth and Niall Maddick

Powerscourt Paige – Molly

nmaddick@hotmail.com

We have had Molly home with us for just five days and already she has completely captured our hearts!! She is a beautiful little pup full of fun and mischief and already we are having a hard time remembering what life was like before she came along. She has settled in very well and house training is making steady progress each day. She had her first walk yesterday on the lead and took to it like a duck to water, of course now she knows what is beyond the front door and gets very excited when ever you go near it!! Looking forward to spending Christmas with her and watching her grow. Thank you so much Chris for such a wonderful little pup.

Peta and Paul White

Bertie - 'Powerscourt Peter Piper'

peta.white@tesco.net

We've had Bertie for a year now and can't imagine life without him, he's a truly lovely natured dog with a wonderful wild side. In October we had a new addition to the family, a little boy called Henry, and Bertie and shown how really mild natured and loving cocker spaniels really are and loves him to pieces. We are however still trying to work out how we came to have a larger than average dog who on a regular basis gets mistaken for a Springer despite this everyone who meets him loves him and thinks his beautiful and all seem to want to take him home.

Danielle Hudson

Baxter - Powerscourt Personality

rhudson8@yahoo.co.uk

Baxter is now 5 months old and it seems as though he has been part of our family for ever. He greets us every morning with an energetic leap into our arms as if he's been parted from us for weeks (he has only been at the bottom of the bed!!) He is charming, loving, loyal, quick to learn and eager to please, not to mention handsome - what more could you ask for?

He has been as good as gold from the day we collected him from Chris, his only vice is a tendency to sneak off in search of something for his tummy should you happen to turn your back on him for a minute. We love Baxter to bits and are eternally grateful that Chris chose us to be Baxter's new family.

Chris and Beki HillHarvey

chrisnbeki@msn.com

Harvey has been with us for two weeks now and already we couldn't imagine life without our little bundle of joy. After three nights of crying he settled and there is only an occasional accident in the house. Harvey is full of life and mischief , but is very loving too, everyone has fallen in love with him, even Taz the cat is appearing to (I wouldn't say love!) but accept him. Harvey has settled very well into a routine, and when he's tired he likes to fall asleep by your feet. He loves to play with other dogs, he has met Spike the English bulldog and Poppy the cocker spaniel. We cannot thank you enough Chris for letting us have Harvey. Love to you all , Beki, Chris, Sam, Joe and Ben x

Patricia Wassall

Dyson

patriciawassall@aol.com

Dyson has been with us 6 days now and seems to have been with us forever. He is the most darling boy, Very gentle and loving with just the right amount of naughtiness, as my plants will testify. We have only had one broken night and already he obeys the sit command and is very nearly there with his toilet training. I can't thank you enough for Dyson and feel we were so very lucky to be able to have him after being last on the list. I think someone was looking down on us. Keep up the good work and this excellent web site and thank you to you and your family for making us so welcome in your home. Love Patricia.

Danielle and Robert Hudson

Baxter - Powerscourt Personality

rhudson8@yahoo.co.uk

We have had Baxter for a week now, although it feels as though he has been with us forever. What an angel he is, sleeps all night, toilets where he should and he is sooooo gorgeous and loving. He has snuggled and charmed his way into our hearts (didn't take much doing!) - we are all absolutely besotted by him. I thank my lucky stars each morning when I am greeted by Baxter - he is our own private little piece of heaven on four legs. Thank you so much Chris for putting your trust in us, and allowing Baxter to be part of our family, he is cherished every minute of every day by all of us. You couldn't have given him a better name as he is such a character with a huge and fantastic "Personality"!

Sue Fletcher

Daisy (Powerscourt Petit Fleur)

suef22@hotmail.com

Daisy joined Georgie and I two weeks ago and she is an absolute treasure! Georgie, now 16 months, is also one of Chris’s dogs and is very special to me. They have settled in really well together and enjoying playing, especially in the garden where they are helping to keep the weeds down for me! Chris’s dogs have the most loving and gentle natures with a hint of mischievousness that is so charming. I am so pleased that Georgie now has a lovely little sister and in the short time Daisy has been with us she has brought sunshine into our lives and, like Georgie, makes me smile every day. Thank you Chris for letting me have another of your very special little dogs. Much love to you all from the three of us, Sue, Georgie and Daisy xxxxx

Elaine and Andy Harford

Powerscourt Patina 'Murphy'

HarfordA&E@aol.com

Chris, Murphy has been with us for just over a week now and it is hard to imagine life before we had him. He is so much a part of the family and has settled in so well. It is a thrill to be greeted by him first thing in the morning and on returning home. He loves a cuddle, loves to play with the children and is already beginning to 'sit', 'come' and 'leave'! He was a little anxious about being left at night to begin with and cried for a while, however, he has slept through the night for the third time now so hopefully he has adjusted to being apart from Bramble and his siblings, (he will even ask to go into his pen when he wants some peace and quite so that seems to have sorted itself out). It is hard to know who is more smitten, Andy, myself or the children. Even the cats are beginning to warm to him - who wouldn't? Thank you so much Chris for choosing us to be his new family. We love our beautiful boy so much and are so pleased to have found 'Powerscourt cockers'.

Hazel and John Amor

Powerscourt Precious Boy ' FLYNN'

Hazelamor63@msn.com

Danielle and Robert Hudson

Baxter

rhudson8@yahoo.co.uk

Today our family was made complete when we collected our beautiful new addition. Baxter is wonderful beyond our expectations - we fell instantly in love! We searched the country up and down until we found a good caring breeder who provided discerning "parents" with a fabulous, healthy, handsome pup bred with love and devotion - it had to be Chris and Powerscourt. Baxter settled into his new home very nicely finding his feet (and getting them under the table!!) quickly. We are thrilled to bits that were lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to be the proud new owners of a Powerscourt Cocker Spaniel!

Bev Morris

mbclsmorris@aol.com

Hello Chris, Sorry we haven't been in touch for a while, but I am sure you are being kept busy with all of those beautiful puppies, congratulations Bramble and Phoebe. Megan is well, still very much a puppy, making us all laugh with her comical personality, she is an absolute delight (most of the time!) Although nearly two years old, we cannot remember what it was like without her being part of our family. Thank you for letting us have one of these special puppies. Hope you are all well and keep up the brilliant web site which keeps us up to date with what is happening with you all.

Megan Fiveash

Isabella (Powerscourt Pandora)

m.fiveash@btopenworld.com

Isabella is an absolute delight. We have only had her for 3 weeks but she has settled in to our family life really well and is loved by everyone who meets her. She is happy, friendly, loving and gentle. Matthew, Alex and Dominic (8 5 and 3 yrs) adore her. She is developing a real little character. One of her favourite hobbies is to see how quickly she can take any clothes out of the washing machine as I am loading it! When Isabella had her first vaccination our vet said that she obviously came from a very good breeder and that she was a lovely 'baby' - we have no doubt he was right. Thank you Chris, your dedication and hard work with all your dogs and especially your 'babies' are wonderful and we are so very happy to have this little girl in our family - she is very much loved. Speak to you soon. Love Megan x

John Petley

Powerscourt Prussian Blue "Tara"

john_l_petley@hotmail.com

Tara's now 1 1/2 years old, but still very much still a puppy. She's a smashing dog, who one minute can be an angel, the next a monster, but nothing too naughty. She's best friends with our other cocker 'Cassie' and we're very lucky to have her. Lovely to see her brothers, sisters and cousins all doing well, keep up the good work Chris! Lots of love, John/Julie/Tara and Cassie

Vickie and Mike Ward

Powerscourt Pascal "Dexter"

We, also, were lucky enough to be chosen by Chris to have a Powerscourt puppy. If you read all advice on how to choose the best breeder for a happy, healthy companion dog, it would be a pretty good description of the wonderful work Chris does with the Powerscourt dogs. We have a darling puppy who had the best possible start to his life. Rather than choose ourselves, we relied on Chris' instinct and experience of puppy temperaments. She asked us about our general lifestyle and picked out the perfect pup for us - a clever and beautiful boy who meets all dogs, people, children with warmth and good manners. Fearless with new experiences and locations, never been sick in his many car journeys, and won an obedience rosette in his puppy class. Dexter is our delight. Thank you, Chris.

The Searles

'Oscar'

natalie.searle@lineone.net

Oscar is a gorgeous, friendly sweetie-pie! He can be a right rascal too, but we wouldn't have him any other way. There is a wonderful bond that has grown and I have been particularly impressed with his overall behaviour with our children (9, 7 and 3). He has been easier to train than I thought and although may persist with some behaviour does know when he is being a monkey so responds when reminded 'that isn't something you're allowed to do'! He is just like a child - lots of love, patience and consistency are paramount. Chris provided a very useful pack containing excellent information about a young puppy and I found the record sheets and socialisation tick list particularly helpful. Chris is also brilliant at being available at the end of the phone and what I haven't found in the pack I've been able to ask Chris directly. Everyone who has met Oscar has adored him and we love him to bits! Thank you Chris for letting us have him. He is a treasured part of our family.

Alison Reynolds

Spencer

DandAReynolds@aol.com

I have just been playing with my beautiful puppy and thought that it was about time I dropped you a line to let you know how he's getting on. He has grown so big and is full of energy and fun. He is just soooooo gorgeous I can't thank you enough. Spencer is so much one of the family we can't imagine life without him. he gets mauled about by the children, especially Georgie who is 3, and he doesn't even murmur. In fact if they sit down for a rest he jumps on them! I will get around to getting some more photos for you one of these days. Spencer has taken to sleeping on the children's trampoline, hopefully I will have a good shot of him there, he looks so lovely and cute. Anyway, thanks for your time, a commodity you don't have a lot of, no doubt! I just wanted to let you know that Spencer is absolutely fine and he is a very much loved puppy. Ali

Katherine and Dave

Harry Powerscourt Pacific Sunset

katherine.hickson@tesco.net

What a wonderful boy we have in Harry. He is the second dog we have from the Powerscourt clan, our first being Murphy who is a joy to own. Not a day goes by in which we don't have tremendous fun with both our boys, whether it be Murphy "singing" to a bad rendition of 'I can't live without you' or Harry making his presence felt by a good paw bashing!! Having owned these two boys we realise how blessed we our in having found Chris and thankful that she kindly allowed us to take them home. Chris' dogs are treasured and her love and devotion to them and her puppies is second to none. If you are searching for an ideal companion, who will follow you to the loo and who will steal your socks and pants you need look no further than a Powerscourt cocker!

Chris McIntyre

"Skye" / Powerscourt Pacific Blue

We had decided a Cocker Spaniel would be the ideal dog for us and companion for our five year old Golden Retriever. After much searching we came across the Powerscourt website, and are delighted that we did. We were immediately filled with confidence that we had found the right breeder with Chris, and are delighted with the outcome. Skye is a beautiful, happy and intelligent puppy, and is a very much loved member of our family. Chris is a smashing lady and all her dogs are a real credit to her. It was wonderful to meet them all when we visited Skye.

John Amor

"DENNIS"

My wife forgot to mention that Brian really does make a lovely cup of tea, and Len doesn't mind waiting for his evening meal, bless him. Emily and Georgie are good tutors at rough and tumble, and Dennis loves going back for a visit, (can't wait to see them all in their new home) xxxxx

Bekki and Craig Ballantyne

Powerscourt Pebbles "Murphy"

craig@home.fsnet.co.uk

After a chance meeting in Andover, we are now the very proud and lucky owners of Murphy. Can I really remember the "Hard" times of puppy owning - NO, especially with a Powerscourt puppy. Chris is a big help and always at the end of the phone even now 2.5 years on. If you are thinking of purchasing and are lucky enough to be accepted as prospective parents then grab the chance while you have it. You will never be that lucky again. Biased I know but then I do have a super dog, with a great temperament and who is in my every waking thought. Thanks Chris for my baby we will always be eternally grateful.

Vicki and Neil Kelsall

Powerscourt Priceless Second Chance "Roscoe"

Roscoe is the most wonderful chap we could ever have hoped for. He is outgoing and friendly, incredibly handsome and the most outstanding companion. We've made lots more friends since having him as everyone wants to meet him. Nothing seems to faze him - especially not bath time, which he has taken to with gusto and verve. Chris quite simply breeds the finest puppies all the way from nursing the mum-to-be through her "bump" to socialising and ensuring every Powerscourt puppy goes out into the world a balanced and confident dog. Roscoe is the light of our lives and we know just how lucky we are to have him. Thank you so much to Chris and the gang.

Margaret Armand Smith

Oneida One More Echelon - known as Portia

margaretarmandsmith@hotmail.com

Although I bred Portia myself I have to thank Chris for letting me use Toby (Powerscourt Higher Echelon) at Stud. Portia not only looks like her dad - handsome of course - she also has his wonderful temperament. Toby and my Rosie have given me the most delightful puppy. I know I am going to have a lot of fun with Portia and I count myself lucky to be able to call on Chris at any time if I need her help. See you at South Wales and Mon Cocker Spaniel Show next month. Love to all the family, two legged as well as four. Margaret

Sue Fletcher Georgie

suef22@hotmail.com

I am lucky enough to have one of Chris's dogs called Georgie who is 10 months old and the light of my life. She is a very loving and happy little dog with a delightful character. Everyone who meets her says how pretty she is and falls in love with her. Chris is a very special person who obviously adores her dogs and this is reflected in their happy, healthy and loving natures. She and her lovely family welcomed me into their home, on several occasions, to visit Georgie from an early age. Chris gave me a lot of her time and some very useful advice - nothing was too much trouble. I feel very lucky to have found Chris and allowed to have one of her special little dogs. Georgie and I will keep in touch and feel we have found an extended family. A special mention must also go to Chris's son Brian who makes a wonderful cup of tea ! Thank you Chris for my gift of Georgie, Lots of luv, Sue and Georgie xxx

Pernille Pedersen

Powerscourt Platinum "Victor"

hitch-cock@get2net.dk

Hi Chris Here comes some of our danish comments on "Victor" Han er en rigtig dejlig dreng og han bliver sikkert en stor stjerne. Hope you can read this, good luck. He is just the best.

Mrs Kerry Roger

Powerscourt Purple Empress "Molly"

kroger@sabancibank-guernsey.net

Dear Chris I just thought I would drop you a line to thank you so much for the wonderful gift of little Molly. She is full of character and is very loving. My 2 1/2 year old son can unintentionally get a bit rough when playing with her sometimes and bless her she just takes it from him and then jumps on him and gets her own back! She is very patient, well mannered and loving. This is of course down to your excellent breeding and their loving upbringing by yourself. I have in the past had a puppy that was not bought up in the breeder’s home and there is an astounding difference in the personalities. Thank you once again and I hope you continue to breed such adorable and loving puppies. Kerry Roger XX

John and Hazel Amor

Powerscourt Pure Blue " DENNIS "

hazelamor63@msn.com

We still can't believe how lucky we are to own a Powerscourt Dog. Dennis has a super temperament, and is a very handsome young man, everyone who meets him comments on his good looks and friendly nature. Chris' puppy rearing skills are second to none. When Dennis came to us at 8 weeks he was a happy, outgoing, loving young man and he just keeps getting better, when you become a Powerscourt puppy owner, you gain great friendship and support from Chris and her lovely family. Thank you Chris keep up the good work. John, Hazel and Dennis xxx

Janet Powell

Powerscourt Pebble Moon - "Louis"
