Meg (mated to Powerscourt Playboy - Louis) arrived here at Powerscourt and so did her five beautiful baby boys! Meg was a star! She whelped easily and looked after her babies beautifully. Meg and pups stayed with us for three weeks, when Richard, Meg's owner arrived to collect them we were sad to see them go. 13/11/04Cheltenham and District, Breed Judge: Sue Whitehead (Burnhead) Powerscourt Power Of Love JW 1st Special Yearling and 1st Post Graduate "Pritchard's Powerscourt Power Of Love JW. Blue roan bitch with lots to like, pretty feminine head with gentle expression, good length of neck and shoulders, square in shape with sufficient spring of rib, firm in rear, used the ring well." 07/11/04Coventry Canine Society, Breed Judge: Christine McDonald (Northey) Powerscourt Power Of Love JW 1st Post Graduate/1st Open, Best of Breed and Gundog Group 2. "Pritchard's Powerscourt Power of Love. Real cockery, merry compact blue roan who kept catching my eye with her ever wagging tail, even when not under scrutiny. I liked her skull and muzzle shape and proportions, lovely eyes and melting expression. Moderate length of neck as desired, and a firm topline. I felt she covered the ground well with the desired combination of bustle and drive, although she did at times move a little wide behind when going at great pace and animation." 31/10/04We had an enjoyable day at Parti-Coloured Cocker Show. As ever there was a good atmosphere and a quality entry. Lottie won three classes and also Reserve Best In Show. Thank you to the judge of the day Bill Bunce (Adurni). These wins gave the last points needed for Lottie's Junior Warrant! "Pritchard’s Cocker Spaniel Powerscourt Power of Love. Just like the Afghan not being disgraced by being runner up to the Bouvier, likewise this blue roan cocker should feel the same being runner up to the Tibetan Terrier. A top drawer puppy viewed from any angle, she is so well balanced, ultra sweet feminine head, good eye, excellent ear set, very good neck, ultra short and cobby in body, excellent well sprung rib, correct top line and tail set, very good angulated rear, super short hocks. It’s on the move where she really excels, so sound and true with very good rear drive and forward reach. Another exhibit that was presented in first class order, a very worthy runner up indeed, who knows another day a different decision!" 15/05/04Royal Welsh Show, Breed/BIS Judge: Mrs Liz Cartledge (Ryslip) Powerscourt Power of Love 1st Puppy, 1st Junior, 1st Graduate and Best Puppy "Pritchard's Powerscourt Power of Love, 11 month blue roan bitch went onto win another two classes.
