Sadly, Louis passed away in November 2009 following a short illness. He was a very special chap & loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him - sleep tight little man xx

Louis had many of the qualities of his lovely parents. He had a kind, gentle and loving nature and was very mellow!

Louis had some nice wins in good company; he was nonchalant about showing (and life in general!) but did well when he felt like it! Louis notched up several 1st places at all levels (including 1st place in a large & strong class at The Cocker Club Championship Show) and innumerable Best Puppy and Best of Breed awards and qualified for Crufts several times during his show career.

Louis was a beautifully constructed dog whose qualities were appreciated by many, however his lackadaisical attitude to life (and therefore showing) often meant his sound construction, beautiful head, big ribbed and short coupled body and his correct movement were overlooked and we decided it was time he retired from the show ring.

Louis lines continue at Powerscourt via his great granddaughters Tasha (Powerscourt Phantasia) and Haze (Roqfolly Hazelnut).
