Bramble couldn't have been a more loving, devoted and loyal friend. She had such a delightful personality with a happy, sweet natured disposition. Bramble was consistently placed at all shows attended including many 1st's and Best Puppy/Best Of Breed awards.

Bramble had a good show career with many respectable wins in good company however; she has really shown her true worth as a Mother. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are all extremely loving, affectionate, well made and good examples of the typical "merry cocker"!

We are particularly pleased with Felix (SW Sh Ch Powerscourt Pied Piper 6 C.C's) who went to Sweden and made a valuable contribution to kennel Backhill's by siring some quality puppies including several Champion offspring, as well as notching up many good show places in quality classes and our own Bramble child, Louis (Powerscourt Playboy). Both boys inherited their Mother's wonderful nature and are little "characters"!!

Bramble's Great Grandson, Fudge, lived with us briefly before retiring to a pet home in the country. We are fortunate to have had the opportunity to welcome his daughters into our home and look forward to continuing with Bramble, Toby and Louis's lines via Tasha and Haze.

Sadly, Bramble was put to sleep to avoid suffering in April 2010 aged 10 3/4 years following a few hours of illness. She was a very special girl and loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
