We only have a small number of litters each year & therefore do not have
puppies constantly available. Please check our
Planned Litters/Puppy Availability page for
information about our current/future litter plans. Very occasionally we
may have older pups/young adults looking for suitable homes; please check our
Older Dogs Availability page for more
details. |

As part of our commitment to the health of our puppies we health screen
our dogs using all the currently recommended health screening methods:
OptiGen prcd-PRA testing, OptiGen/Antagene Familial Nephropathy (FN)
testing, KC/BVA Eye testing & KC/BVA Hip Scoring. We are pleased to
say that all Powerscourt puppies will be unaffected with either prcd-PRA or
Familial Nephropathy (FN) due to the known genetic status of their parents.

Our 'babies' are born & reared in our busy family home. They are well
socialised around all the usual household noises & activity. They are
regularly handled & played with by us, our children and friends visiting. We
also take our babies out in the car on several occasions to help them become
accustomed to car journeys. Our puppies also get many opportunities to
play with our adult dogs; this gives them every chance to learn 'doggie' skills.
We also have two lovely dog friendly cats who are more than willing to play with
the 'babies'! |

We are dedicated & responsible Kennel Club Accredited breeders who aim to
provide owner's with a healthy, happy & well socialised, quality
parti-coloured puppy that they should have many years of enjoyment from. Please
note our puppies are not available for breeding. We aim to have a litter
when we wish to keep a puppy for ourselves and the remainder of the litter are
placed in loving family homes. Accordingly, we do not have puppies available all
year round.
|
 |
Please note we do not keep a waiting list until have confirmation that a
litter is expected. We welcome visits from would-be owners, however visits
are limited to those people on our waiting list. For more information about
visits please see our visiting us page.

 |
When we do have puppies available, we aim to ensure that they go to permanent
& loving homes where owners have the time and commitment to offer to a lively
new member of the family.
Before the puppy leaves our home, it has been lovingly reared & socialised.
However, like all puppies our pups do not go to their new homes as trained,
well-mannered & obedient dogs! Owners are responsible for the further
development of the puppy’s personality, through guidance, training, structured
rules and love!

Our puppies have healthy, happy & good-natured parents. They are reared in
our home in a clean, stimulating, loving and caring environment.
They are wormed fortnightly and are always given a full health check-up by
our Vet & micro-chipped (chip registered in the new owner's name) before
leaving us for their new homes.
|
 |
Puppies are supplied with: Five Generation Pedigrees, Kennel Club
Registration documents (endorsed not for breeding or export), micro-chip
certificate (in the new owners name), health declaration, insurance
documentation, contract of sale and a comprehensive care pack consisting of:
puppy food, a puppy gift pack of toys/treats, photos of the litter (100+

 |
We have a lifetime commitment to our puppies & we actively encourage our
