Toby is a happy and outgoing boy who was a joy and pleasure to own. Toby was my first home-bred show dog. He has a playful and fun nature and is always a pleasure to be around. He has a lovely temperament and adores children of all ages.

Toby is a lovely honest type of Cocker with plenty of substance and a sweet, kind nature - a real gentleman! He was very popular at stud and sired over 300 quality puppies of correct type and temperament including a lovely orange young lady called Muppet (P. Pandemonium) who is a great ambassador for the breed as a P.A.T dog visiting the children's wards in Bath and Bristol. In 2009, Muppet was voted as P.A.T dog finalist of the Year.

Toby was consistently placed at all levels and never failed to give of his best. To his credit he held his own in the show ring notching up dozens of good wins, including many 1st's at Open and Championship level, Best of Breeds and Group placing's.

Toby gave us the gift of Louis (Powerscourt Playboy) who in turn produced Wakehurst Blue Belle, who in turn when mated to Zakova Blue Print produced Wakehurst Playboy who is the father of Powerscourt Phantasia and Roqfolly Hazelnut.

Toby is KC/BVA eye tested Clear for CPRA/GPRA and Glaucoma, he has also been OptiGen prcd-PRA and FN tested as genetically Normal/Clear, meaning he is statistically normal for prcd-PRA and FN and will never develop these diseases or be capable of passing them onto his offspring. Toby has a hip score of A : A, (FCI hip-score scheme).

Thank you Toby for the sheer joy you have given u, your delightful ways and the gift of your children. Toby has been such a special part of my life. Like his sister Rosie, he has been my "soul mate" and the gap he leaves at Powerscourt and in my heart will NEVER be filled. Enjoy your retirement my darling - miss you. xxx
