Purdie is a darling girl. She's very sweet, calm and gentle. Purdie is a joy to live with; she is a playful girl and always managed to amuse us with her antics.

Purdie is half sister to Lottie (Powerscourt Power Of Love JW) and Sophie (Powerscourt Pure Silk) on her fathers side and a cousin on her mother side. She is also half sister (on her mothers side) to Powerscourt Paint Splash (Tiggy).

Purdie made her first show appearance early in January 2006. She enjoyed herself, behaved herself (more or less!) and did well. We were delighted when she won a strong puppy class, challenged for Best Puppy and won that together with Reserve Best Of Breed. Following a season, Purdie dropped all her coat and she retired from the show ring for maternal duties.

Purdie has a clear KC/BVA eye certificate for GPRA/PRA and Glaucoma. She is OptiGen tested as "Carrier" for prcd-PRA and OptiGen FN tested "Normal" which means she will be unaffected by either of these diseases. Purdie is hip scored 5 : 7.

Purdie had a lovely litter in 2006 to our dearest Archie (Riondel Venture to Powerscourt) and we kept a sweet orange roan daughter called Megan (Powerscourt Precious Simba).

Purdie is now retired from Powerscourt and is living locally with our friend Heather. Although we see you regularly, we miss having you at home but know you are having a great time with Heather! Love you lots Purdie xx
