Archie is a friendly chap who likes nothing better than to please everyone. He has a very gentle disposition and is a pleasure to live with.

Archie was consistently placed at all levels of competition and never failed to give of his best. He was a very outgoing and happy showman who was always a pleasure to show! To his credit, he has many 1st's, Best Puppy, Best of Breed and Group placing's and qualified for Crufts several times during his show career.

Archie has made his mark by siring some lovely children. Many are in show homes and are doing well in strong competition. His most successful child is Swedish Show Champion Powerscourt Pied Piper (6 C.C's) He's also Grandfather to our own Powerscourt Power Of Love JW who has had an exciting show career winning well at all levels and never out of the "cards".

Many of our present cockers descend from Archie. His most recent litter here at Powerscourt saw the arrival of a sweet blue roan & tan chap who has stayed with us, we have called him Teddy aka Powerscourt Mr Pointment.

Archie carries for all parti-colours (with the exception of Liver) and produces sound, well boned, short and cobby puppies that all seem to have his gentle nature and outstanding temperament.

Archie is KC/BVA eye tested Clear for CPRA/GPRA and Glaucoma, he has also been OptiGen prcd-PRA and FN tested as genetically Normal/Clear, meaning he is statistically normal for prcd-PRA and FN and will never develop these diseases or be capable of passing them onto his offspring. He is also hip-scored with a low score of 3 : 3

Due to time limitations, Archie is now retired from the show ring and lives locally with our friends Rebecca and Phil. We see Archie frequently which is lovely! He remains happy to entertain visiting "brides" and continues to sire large litters of happy, healthy and quality pups.
